Every time you pick up a Canadian quarter, you will see an image of the Queen on one side and the other side is an image of a woodland caribou.

Let this be a reminder to us all how important woodland caribou are: they are like a canary in a coal mine.  If they can survive in the boreal forest, then the forest is in good health.  Right now, the woodland caribou is struggling to survive.  What does that say about the state of the boreal forest?

Sign the letter to Premier Dalton McGuinty.  Even if you live outside of Ontario, it is still important that your voice be heard.
